Asunción's municipal building department reported 60 incoming files between October 1 and 19, 2026. The projects submitted cover about 58,500 m² of proposed new construction and 6,400 m² of demolition. In the same period, 97 files were closed, including ten new construction projects, 17 plan regularizations, four fencing procedures and 62 final inspections.
Santa Teresa, Molas López and Villa Morra were highlighted as development areas. Incoming files do not equal approved annual building permits or work already completed. A comparable annual figure for 2026 remains unconfirmed.
