Paraguay's Central Bank securities supervisor announced the lifting of redemption restrictions for two named dollar-denominated mutual funds. On 4 November it reported the lifting of the suspension affecting BASA's Fondo Mutuo LP en Dólares Americanos. On 5 November it announced a corresponding decision for the Fondo Mutuo BNB PY Dólares Americanos managed by BNB Asset Management.

Fund-specific decisions

These notices relate to explicitly identified investment vehicles. They do not represent a blanket lifting of restrictions across all mutual funds and do not establish that every redemption has been completed.

What investors should verify

Investors should confirm applicable redemption procedures, valuations, settlement timelines and effective availability of proceeds with the relevant managers. Lifting a regulatory suspension does not guarantee returns or protect against investment losses.

Radar analysis

These developments may contribute to normalizing market operations, but the amount of liquidity restored and the value of withdrawals actually settled remain unquantified by the notices alone. Deposit guarantees for bank customers follow a different regime.
