MIC reported on October 28 on the Jajotopa Boquerón meeting in Filadelfia. Minister Marco Riquelme identified water and electricity supply as conditions for expanding industrial activity and employment in the Chaco.

He linked the Bioceanic Route to commercial access to central Brazil and the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, arguing that connectivity should also support production and added value within Paraguay.

The release identifies no newly awarded plant, committed investment amount or installation timetable. It signals regional development priorities, rather than completed investment.

Radar reading: the route may expand reachable markets, but an industrial location depends on services, costs and reliability together. A land or plant assessment should verify available power capacity, water arrangements, permits and connection costs. Proximity to the corridor cannot replace those checks.

For suppliers, the signal suggests prospecting in maintenance, engineering, storage and industrial services. A commercial opportunity becomes assessable when a customer, budgeted need and purchasing terms can be identified. Radar will look for those milestones before treating regional potential as confirmed business.
