From 9 November 2026, documents filed to incorporate a Simplified Joint Stock Company (EAS) in Paraguay must include at least one Qualified Electronic Signature (FEC), according to a notice from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, issued through SUACE. The requirement covers standard articles, private contracts and public deeds submitted for incorporation, and extends to subsequent corporate notices, including shareholders' meetings, share transfers, changes to company officers and amendments to bylaws. The signature may be provided by a legal representative, a notary or another duly authorised individual. Filings continue through the EAS portal, integrated with SIARA. The measure relates to MEF Resolution 337/2026. Companies should check their authorised signatories and access to a valid qualified signature before filing. The notice does not specify new fines, charges or a grace period.
