Trading in ATOME PLC shares on AIM, the London Stock Exchange market, was restored on Monday, 5 October. The official notice links the lifting of the suspension to publication of the audited annual accounts and half-yearly report.

The development follows ATOME’s announcement on 1 October that it had given notice to terminate its electricity supply agreement with ANDE, signed in 2022 and subsequently increased to 145 MW. According to the company, termination will take effect at the end of 2026.

Electricity supply and dispute

ATOME says it will continue negotiating a new agreement to allow the Villeta project to proceed.

It also maintains its notice of dispute and intent to submit an arbitration claim under the UK–Paraguay bilateral investment treaty.

These statements represent the company’s disclosed position.

Radar perspective

Restoration of trading resolves the market suspension associated with publication of financial information. It does not, by itself, establish that a new power agreement has been secured, project financing has closed or construction has started in Villeta.

ON THE RADAR

For businesses and investors, the next material milestone will be a verifiable announcement about electricity supply terms and their implications for project execution.
